Tired of Facebook

Facebook, the world's number one social networking site. It aids its users in catching up with old friends and finding out whats events are happening; however, facebook can drive its users insane!

I am not saying this all because I am one of those radicalist who declares facebook to be from hell. In fact, as I write this its open in my other tab. I am writing this to warn readers that once you enter the facebook world, you will never be the same!

Facebook has many mistakes. For example, as I log in I see not my name but a name my friends put on my account one day to be funny. Why do I still have this name? Because when I try to change it back facebook arrogantly tells me, "Your name change request has been rejected by our automated approval system." I just know the facebook staff is smirking at me. Why it won't let me change my name back, the world will never know.

Besides getting my name wrong, an additional quirk that drives me crazy is the error screens that pop up a majority of the time. When I am scrolling through my friends pages, the screen sporadically will freeze, and a message will pop up saying, "An error has occurred." Thank you for telling me facebook, I definitely wouldn't have noticed the screen freezing and going blank on my own!

Despite the many mistakes and glitches facebook does make though, I would not want to give it up for the world. Facebook makes the world a smaller place. I can see what my best friend is up to, even though he now lives five in a half hours away. I can see pictures of my sisters  new house in Minnesota, and I can keep in touch with friends who are traveling half way around.

So, am I tired of facebook, no, not yet.
